The admission process is straightforward. If you decide you would like your child to attend Fox Cubs Forest Nursery follow these simple steps.
Come and Meet Us:
The first step is to get to know our setting a little better. Visitors are warmly welcome to visit us and have a tour of the School. As part of your initial visit you will meet with our Headteacher Mrs Voller to discuss your child’s needs.
Please call the School Office on 01483202198 to arrange a visit.
If after visiting you decide that Fox Cubs Nursery is the place for your child then you will need to complete an admission form and return it to the School Office. Admission deadlines are set each term and it is advisable to apply in a timely manner to avoid disappointment.

Paper copies available upon request.
Once we have received your admission form the admissions panel will confirm your child’s place in writing. We will then contact you with information about settling in and discuss any additional requirements or questions you may have.
How to apply for your child’s free entitlement
All 3 and 4 year olds living in England are entitled to 570 hours of free early education and childcare a year. At Fox Cubs Nursery this is offered as 15 hours a week for 38 weeks per year. This is known as the Universal Entitlement. It can be claimed from the term after your child’s third birthday.
From September 2017 the government will be increasing the free hours from 15 to 30 for children of working families meeting the eligibility criteria. This means that eligible children will be able to receive up to 1140 hours of free childcare a year.
The School Office will claim this on your behalf and will only require you to complete a declaration of attendance form each term, this is to confirm that your child will attend for the hours the school is claiming.
You will need to apply online to confirm you are eligible for 30 hours. Click here to apply.
If eligible you will be given an eligibility code to give to the school.
