St James Church:
Fox Cubs are so lucky to have St James Church a short walk from nursery. We visit the church fortnightly where we meet Reverend Judy or Jane for some godly play. We listen to stories, discover the church, sing songs, and learn about the Christian faith together in a way that is age appropriate for each individual child. Reverend Judy and Jane then visit Fox Cubs nursery every other week so the children can play and get to know them in our own environment.
We share, Easter, Harvest Festival and Christmas assemblies and other events at the church. Our last nativity play was warmly received and supported with an unbelievable number of parents and grandparents attending, not even standing room was available!
The church also offers a session for the very young members of our community called ‘Little Fishes’.
